Middlesex County has been included in NJDEP’s Drought Watch, effective July 25, 2016.

NJDEP and Monroe Township Utility Department (M.T.U.D.) urge residents to use water wisely due to the continued dry weather.

Monroe Township is well positioned to provide all the water needs of our residents today and into the future.  Currently, M.T.U.D. has drilled two (2) new wells and is waiting for the laboratory results to determine what treatment system will be used to allow us to bring you over 3 million gallons of additional drinking water.  Preliminary test results indicate that we will be removing iron from these wells.

If you have any questions, please call us at 732-521-1700.
